Independent Forum of Commonwealth Organisations

IFCO brings together representatives of accredited Commonwealth Organisations to develop and sustain partnerships for activities and agree common policy positions. IFCO member organisations develop policy ideas for consideration at the Heads of Government Meeting and for prospective endorsement in the Communique issued when the Meeting ends.

Alliance member organisations consider that by working together they can more efficiently and effectively represent and support health and social service professionals in Commonwealth countries and promote high standards of care and equity in access to care for Commonwealth peoples.

It is the global body for the Social work profession. The Federation and its national members strive for social justice, human rights and inclusive, sustainable social development through the promotion of social work best practice and engagement in international cooperation.

The International Association Of Schools Of Social Work (IASSW)

IASSW/AIETS is the worldwide association of schools of social work, other tertiary-level social work educational programmes, and social work educators. IASSW promotes the development of social work education throughout the world, develops standards to enhance the quality of social work education, encourages international exchange, provides forums for sharing social work research and scholarship, and promotes human rights and social development through policy and advocacy activities.
